Speaker: Franz G. Fuchs, SINTEF Title: Optimal mixers restricted to subspaces and the stabilizer formalism Abstract: We present a recent work (https://arxiv.org/abs/2306.17083) on mixers constrained
Speaker: Dragana Laketic, NTNU Title: Emergent computations for emerging technologies Abstract: One of the most vibrant research communities of today is the one around materials
Speaker: Morten Øygarden, Simula UiB Title: Post-Quantum Signature Schemes and the Oil-and-Vinegar Problem Abstract: Recent years have seen a huge effort in the study of
Speaker: Hsuan-Yin Lin, Simula Title: Quantum Error Correction from a Classical-Friendly World-View Abstract: Quantum error correction is the foundation for protecting quantum systems and scaling
In this presentation, I will introduce the concept of point defects in semiconductors for QT, and discuss which properties we are looking for when selecting materials and defects to develop towards a specific application. Then, I will provide an overview of the theoretical and experimental activity devoted to point defect SPEs that is ongoing at the University of Oslo, before finally discussing some selected research highlights on defect based quantum emitters.
